I do have to admit though that after trying to use it a bit more today I honestly don't know how to wire it up to anything. The input sockets can switch gears and I've managed to make a configuration where it can switch between two gears, but I don't know how to make them turn or how to use it for another contraption.

Also somehow this level works fine in the browser version of Principia even though I haven't updated it to include the fix. I guess it's just built differently. The screenshotter will almost certainly crash if you upload a level containing it though so uh, don't do that yet.

If I had placed the pixel on the first layer, the circuits would still be visible, and if I had placed it on the second layer, there would have been no room for the ball! That's why I used a plastic box.

@randomguy @BobMonkeypimp2 both are a type of low-pass filter. Moving average is calculated by storing a specific amount of samples (125Hz here, so 125 per second, this example uses 250 samples) and average all samples, then move them one slot, discarding the oldes sample and storing the new one, like a FIFO queue where you average every slot on each step
