Experimental fully self-contained lift that rides on a rail. No Lua.
If the floor counter desyncs or if the motor slips, just reload the save.

How to select target floor from inside the lift?
Use the Z-zlider and confirm with the F-button.

How to call the lift from another floor?
Just click the controller and then the F-button.

Wait until it stops at floor 8 before doing anything!
