It has been 4 years since Principia was released as open source back in August of 2022, freeing the game from its previous fate as proprietary abandonware. Since then, a lot has happened and Principia is now better than ever.

Principia is a physics-based sandbox game featuring mechanics, electronics, robots, puzzles, Lua scripting and more. Originally released as a commercial game by Bithack in 2013 and later abandoned in 2014 due to financial difficulties, the game's source code was released in 2022 to be further developed by the community that grew up playing it.

The game is available for Windows, Linux, Android, with experimental ports to other platforms as well as being able to run in your browser. You can read more about the game and download it for the supported platforms at: https://principia-web.se/
