Debug build

This page details a number of differences that exist in a debug build of Principia.

How to detect a debug build

At the bottom of the main menu, it should suffix the version number with [Debug]. The title bar will also permanently show the current FPS of the game.

Debug keybinds

In main menu

• S - Generate sandbox menu images (Linux only)
• O - Quickly open last saved sandbox level

In a level

• <Shift>-F3 - Sound test (play the next sound in the sound database)
• <Shift>-F6 - Create an empty adventure level
• F6 - Print the current level's seed to the terminal
• <Ctrl>-F8 - Save a copy of the level
• <Ctrl>-F9 - Save a copy of the level
• <Ctrl>-F10 - Dialog test (open the next dialog in order)
• <Ctrl>-F11 - Reload graphics
