How get constant value

I want to get a constant value out of something without pressing a button. That thing might just give me the you know... the value like 1 or 0 or something different like 5 or 6 or it might give it when it's triggered. I don't know how to ask this question but I hope you get what I mean to ask. I don't even know if anyone plays this game anymore

A Jumper? You can configure it to an arbitrary signal value and then insert it into an input socket and it will be fed a constant stream of the configured value.
